Kernersville Community Church Identity

A new corporate identity for a fast-growing church located in an area of North Carolina that’s an intersection between several large cities.  The target audience for this was primarily “unchurched” people, or people who didn’t grow up going to church.  It needed to impart a sense of “family, warm, friendly and inviting” I gave the identity an antique look to emphasize the “down-home” feeling.

  1. It’s been great to see how the church has grabbed hold of the new identity, too! Their previous identity was pretty broad – images of a cross, a world map, the “KCC” acronym – now, with it being more focused, the congregation has a rallying point for their vision. Pretty exciting to see what a design can do, you know?

  2. Thanks! It's great how the church's congregation has grabbed hold of this new identity. It's helped to focus the vision of the church onto the community, and it lets people use the business card as an invite card, saving costs on not having to print up separate invite cards.

Having a unified identity has really had a huge impact on our “walk-ins” and on retention. Most people already have a sense of who we are before they come through the door. I wish more churches would make the effort…

  6. What is being reported internationally by Al Jazeera gives a chilling read: The corruption of the US government is profound and beyond civil ability to control. This law is only further proof of that fact. Please note when Al Jazeera produced the opinion and the author. It is time that sane voices are heard.
